Penetration Testing in North Wales

North Wales is closer to us than much of England is. Wrexham and the Deeside corridor are within easy reach, and accredited providers based in the region are genuinely scarce.

Genuinely near, not nominally

Albrighton to Wrexham is about an hour. The Deeside industrial corridor, Mold and Flint are comparable. That makes onsite work across north-east Wales practical and cheap in a way it simply is not for a provider operating out of Cardiff or Manchester.

Further west — Bangor, Caernarfon, Anglesey — is a longer trip, and we quote travel transparently rather than pretending distance does not exist.

Advanced manufacturing and aerospace

The Deeside and Broughton corridor hosts significant aerospace and advanced manufacturing operations, along with a deep tier two and tier three supply chain. Those suppliers are under sustained pressure from customers to evidence security, usually starting with Cyber Essentials and progressing to requests for independent testing.

Public sector, health and education

Local authorities across Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy and Gwynedd, Betsi Cadwaladr health provision, Bangor and Wrexham universities, and a substantial school estate. Welsh public sector procurement commonly specifies accredited testing.

Tourism, hospitality and retail

The North Wales coast and Snowdonia region carry a large hospitality and tourism sector handling considerably more payment and personal data than most operators realise, usually with minimal IT support and no security assurance of any kind.

Energy and utilities

The region's energy infrastructure and renewables operations bring operational technology considerations. We scope OT-adjacent work conservatively — assessing the IT/OT boundary and segmentation rather than running active scans against control systems.

A note on language

All testing, communication and reporting is delivered in English. If you need documentation in Welsh for a public sector requirement, tell us at scoping so we can be clear about what we can and cannot provide, and you can factor translation into your timeline.

Common questions

How far will you travel in North Wales?

Wrexham, Deeside, Mold and Flint are straightforward day trips with minimal travel cost. Bangor, Caernarfon and Anglesey are longer and quoted accordingly. We would rather price it honestly than surprise you.

Do you provide reports in Welsh?

No. All work and reporting is in English. If a public sector requirement needs Welsh-language documentation, raise it at scoping and factor in your own translation — we will format the report to make that straightforward.

Do you work with Welsh public sector bodies?

We hold the CREST accreditation commonly specified in public sector procurement, verifiable independently. Send us the specific requirement and we will tell you honestly whether we meet it.

We are a manufacturer with production systems. Can you test safely?

Yes, with caution. We do not scan operational technology conventionally, because legacy control systems fail when scanned. We assess the IT/OT boundary and test the corporate network properly instead.
