Penetration Testing in South Wales

Cardiff, Swansea and Newport are a long way from Shropshire — so we deliver remotely at the same rates rather than adding a day of driving to your invoice.

Remote, and honest about why

South Wales is not close to us, and we are not going to claim otherwise or invent a Cardiff address. What we offer is straightforward: application, API, cloud and external infrastructure testing delivered remotely, at the same day rates as everyone else, with no travel on the invoice.

For internal infrastructure testing we ship a preconfigured device that connects back to us — usually the better value option regardless of distance. Where attendance is genuinely warranted, travel is quoted as a separate transparent line so you can decide whether it is worth it.

Financial and professional services

Cardiff's financial services and professional practice sector faces the familiar pattern of client assurance questionnaires demanding independent accredited testing, usually with a contract deadline attached.

Technology and creative

The technology and digital cluster across Cardiff and Newport produces companies reaching the point where an enterprise customer or investor requires a penetration test — often their first, and often scoped either too broadly or too narrowly to satisfy whoever asked. That conversation is free.

Manufacturing and industry

Steel, automotive components and advanced manufacturing across Port Talbot, Newport and the valleys, with supply chain security requirements arriving from large customers. Operational technology is scoped conservatively — we assess the IT/OT boundary rather than scanning control systems.

Public sector, health and education

The Senedd and Welsh Government estate, local authorities, health boards, and universities across Cardiff, Swansea and Newport. Welsh public sector procurement commonly specifies accredited testing, and CREST accreditation is independently verifiable.

Language

All testing, communication and reporting is in English. If a public sector requirement needs Welsh-language documentation, raise it at scoping so you can factor translation into your timeline.

Common questions

You are not local. Why use you?

Remote testing is identical in quality and you are not paying for travel. Our rates reflect Shropshire overheads rather than a city consultancy's. If you specifically need someone in the building regularly, a local firm may suit you better and we will say so.

Do you charge extra because we are further away?

No. Day rates are identical wherever you are. Only travel varies, and only where onsite work is genuinely required — which for most engagements it is not.

How do you test our internal network remotely?

We ship a preconfigured device that connects back to us. It works well and costs considerably less than attendance.

Do you provide Welsh-language reports?

No. All work is delivered in English. Raise any Welsh-language requirement at scoping so you can plan translation.
